Catty Chan, Owner and Pastry Chef
Catty's journey into the world of pastries first started when she decided to put her job as a professional accountant on hold to study at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. After months of training in French kitchens, she obtained her Grand Diplôme de Cuisine et de Pâtisserie. She then went on to work at the prestigious Pâtisserie Café Pouchkine under the direction of MOF Emmanuel Ryon and his team, where she learned to create French gourmet masterpieces.
After her life changing experience in Paris, Catty wanted to share what she had learned with the people closest to her when she returned to Toronto. And so, she decided that her debut would be to make her own wedding cake!
Catty then enrolled at the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts to further her skills in modern cake decorating and design. Using her training from France and Toronto, she was able to create the perfect wedding cake for her husband, family and friends to enjoy.
Now, she hopes to share her passion for beautiful and delicious cakes and pastries with brides, grooms and events all around the Greater Toronto Area!
